Math Fluency Practice:
The math fluency round will include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. There are many helpful websites, apps, and practice pages that can be used at home to help develop the fluency. Please find the format that works best for you. I cannot stress enough the importance of nightly fluency practice.

We are working on the concepts of ten times as many and place value. One of the main skills I will be focusing on is getting the students to explain how their answers. Their will be quick checks that I will be doing at least 3 times a week to assess where they with that concept. Sometimes we can answer math but cannot explain how we got the answer. At this point, the how and why are very important.

Social Studies - Student were supposed to take a quiz on Monday but it has been postponed. I did ask them to look over their notes over the weekend. We are working on map skills, continents, oceans, and regions. The test is currently scheduled for Wednesday now.
